Μύξωμα Κάτω Γνάθου. Χειρουργική Θεραπεία σε μία Ιδιαίτερα Εκτεταμένη Περίπτωση

ΠΕΡΙΛΗΨΗ
Το μύξωμα των οστών αποτελεί σπάνιο καλοήθη όγκο, ο οποίος παρουσιάζεται με αυξημένη
συχνότητα, στα οστά της γναθοπροσωπικής χώρας. Παρά τις ενδελεχείς ιστολογικές μελέτες και
αναφορές, η διεθνής βιβλιογραφία παραμένει ακόμη και σήμερα αναποφάσιστη αναφορικά με
την πιθανή προέλευση του όγκου. Η συντηρητική χειρουργική θεραπεία για τα μυξώματα που
αφορούν τις γνάθους παραμένει η θεραπεία εκλογής.
Παρουσιάζουμε μια εκτεταμένη περίπτωση μυξώματος της κάτω γνάθου με επέκταση στα
μαλακά μόρια της συστοίχου υπογναθίου περιοχής, που δημιούργησε την ανάγκη για ημιγναθε-
κτομή και χειρουργικό καθαρισμό του συστοίχου υπογναθίου τριγώνου. Η αποκατάσταση συντελέσθηκε
με λαγόνιο οστικό αυτομόσχευμα δια της μεθόδου Fries
