Γενειοπλαστική με Οστεοτομία: Χειρουργική Τεχνική και Σύγκριση
με την Τεχνική που χρησιμοποιεί Αλλοπλαστικά Υλικά

ΠΕΡΙΛΗΨΗ
Παρά τις προσωπικές προτιμήσεις και την προηγούμενη εκπαίδευση που μπορεί να επηρεάσουν την επιλογή
της τεχνικής της γενειοπλαστικής που θα χρησιμοποιηθεί, η τεχνική της οστεοτομίας σε σχέση με
αυτήν που χρησιμοποιεί αλλοπλαστικά υλικά, έχει καλύτερο βαθμό ικανοποίησης του ασθενούς (έστω και
μικρό), καλύτερη προγνωσιμότητα των αλλαγών των μαλθακών ιστών και λιγότερο επιβλαβείς μετεγχειρητικές
επιπλοκές. Πρόσθετα η τεχνική της οστεοτομίας δίνει μεγαλύτερη ευελιξία στην αντιμετώπιση κάθε προβλήματος
στην περιοχή του γενείου και έχει τους μικρότερους περιορισμούς και αντενδείξεις σε σχέση με
την τεχνική των αλλοπλαστικών υλικών. Λόγω του ότι η κάθε τεχνική μπορεί να έχει τα δικά της πλεονεκτήματα
και μειονεκτήματα είναι σημαντικό ο χειρουργός να τα αξιολογεί πάντα σε σχέση με τις ειδικές ανάγκες
του συγκεκριμένου ασθενούς που έχει να αντιμετωπίσει.

της τεχνικής της γενειοπλαστικής που θα χρησιμοποιηθεί, η τεχνική της οστεοτομίας σε σχέση με
αυτήν που χρησιμοποιεί αλλοπλαστικά υλικά, έχει καλύτερο βαθμό ικανοποίησης του ασθενούς (έστω και
μικρό), καλύτερη προγνωσιμότητα των αλλαγών των μαλθακών ιστών και λιγότερο επιβλαβείς μετεγχειρητικές
επιπλοκές. Πρόσθετα η τεχνική της οστεοτομίας δίνει μεγαλύτερη ευελιξία στην αντιμετώπιση κάθε προβλήματος
στην περιοχή του γενείου και έχει τους μικρότερους περιορισμούς και αντενδείξεις σε σχέση με
την τεχνική των αλλοπλαστικών υλικών. Λόγω του ότι η κάθε τεχνική μπορεί να έχει τα δικά της πλεονεκτήματα
και μειονεκτήματα είναι σημαντικό ο χειρουργός να τα αξιολογεί πάντα σε σχέση με τις ειδικές ανάγκες
του συγκεκριμένου ασθενούς που έχει να αντιμετωπίσει.
