Τοξοπλάσμωση Τραχηλικών Λεμφαδένων. Αναφορά Δύο Περιπτώσεων

ΠΕΡΙΛΗΨΗ
Περιγράφονται δυο περιπτώσεις τοξοπλάσμωσης στις οποίες η λοίμωξη εμφανίστηκε με διόγκωση ενός
υπογενείδιου και ενός υπογνάθιου λεμφαδένα αντίστοιχα. Η διάγνωση τέθηκε με ιστολογική εξέταση και
επιβεβαιώθηκε με ορολογικές εξετάσεις. Η νόσος προσβάλλει κυρίως νεαρούς ενήλικες, προκαλώντας
διόγκωση των τραχηλικών κυρίως λεμφαδένων με διάφορου βαθμού καταβολή, βήχα και πυρετό. Συνήθως
αυτοιάται, αλλά είναι δυνατόν να οδηγήσει σε σοβαρές επιπλοκές όπως π.χ. μυοκαρδίτιδα, ηπατίτιδα,
πολυμυοσίτιδα, εγκεφαλίτιδα. Δεδομένης της μεγάλης συχνότητας με την οποία η τοξοπλάσμωση εκδηλώνεται
με πρωταρχικό σημείο την τραχηλική λεμφαδενοπάθεια, τονίζεται η ανάγκη να συμπεριλαμβάνεται η
νόσος αυτή στη διαφορική διάγνωση των διογκώσεων των τραχηλικών λεμφαδένων
