ΠΕΡΙΛΗΨΗ
Το βρογχικό άσθμα αποτελεί μια πάθηση με πολλές ιδιαιτερότητες και αφορά σε ένα σημαντικό ποσοστό
του πληθυσμού. Οι παροξυσμικές κρίσεις δεν είναι σπάνιες. Ο γναθοπροσωπικός χειρουργός καλείται συχνά
να αντιμετωπίσει ασθματικούς ασθενείς υπό τοπική ή γενική αναισθησία. Ο χειρισμός των ασθενών αυτών
απαιτεί σε βάθος γνώση του αντικειμένου, κατάλληλη προετοιμασία και πλήρη ετοιμότητα. Σκοπός της εργασίας
είναι να παρουσιάσει τις νεώτερες απόψεις σχετικά με την προεγχειρητική, διεγχειρητική και μετεγχειρητική
αγωγή ενός ασθενή με βρογχικό άσθμα.
