ΠΕΡΙΛΗΨΗ
Το κακόηθες μελάνωμα στο βλεννογόνο του στόματος είναι ιδιαίτερα σπάνιος όγκος και η συχνότητα
του ανέρχεται στο 0,2 με 8% του συνόλου των μελανωμάτων του σώματος. Η συμπεριφορά του είναι επιθετικότερη
από το ακανθοκυτταρικό καρκίνωμα και το αδενοκαρκίνωμα επειδή η μεταστατική του ικανότητα
και η τοπική διήθηση των πέριξ ιστών είναι δεδομένη και απρόβλεπτη. Η πρόγνωση του είναι κακή και
μάλιστα περισσότερο βαριά από αυτή του μελανώματος του δέρματος. Η ριζική χειρουργική αφαίρεση
παραμένει η αποτελεσματικότερη θεραπευτική αντιμετώπιση και συνεπικουρείται από χημειοθεραπεία και
ανοσοΘεραπεία. Παρουσιάζονται τέσσαρες περιπτώσεις μελανωμάτων του στοματικού βλεννογόνου και
συζητείται ο τρόπος αντιμετώπισης τους.

Το κακόηθες μελάνωμα στο βλεννογόνο του στόματος είναι ιδιαίτερα σπάνιος όγκος και η συχνότητα
