ΠΕΡΙΛΗΨΗ
Ο έλεγχος του πόνου είναι ένας σημαντικός παράγοντας στην Οδοντιατρική. Η τοπική αναισθησία
επιτρέπει όχι μόνο την άνετη και χωρίς πόνο θεραπεία, αλλά αυξάνει και την εμπιστοσύνη του ασθενή
προς τον Οδοντίατρο του. Μία από τις πιο συχνά χρησιμοποιούμενες μεθόδους για τον έλεγχο του
πόνου στην κάτω γνάθο είναι η στελεχιαία αναισθησία του κάτω φατνιακού νεύρου. Πολλές φορές
όμως, διάφορα σφάλματα που επιτελούνται κυρίως κατά την τέλεση της άμεσης τεχνικής, οδηγούν τη
στελεχιαία αναισθησία του κάτω φατνιακού νεύρου σε αποτυχία πλήρη ή μερική.
Στην εργασία αυτή παρουσιάζονται τα σφάλματα που οδηγούν την αναισθησία σε αποτυχία λόγω
ατελούς γνώσης των τεχνικών, δυσκολίας ανεύρεσης των ορθών οδηγών σημείων, ενδοαγγειακής
έγχυσης του αναισθητικού διαλύματος και χρήσεως αναποτελεσματικών σκευασμάτων ή χορήγησης
ανεπαρκούς ποσότητας αναισθητικού.
Επίσης αναφέρονται ορισμένα συμβάματα κι επιπλοκές που δημιουργούνται εξαιτίας των παραπάνω
εσφαλμένων ενεργειών και προτείνονται ορισμένες εναλλακτικές τεχνικές, προκειμένου ο επεμβαίνων
να επιτύχει ικανοποιητική σε βάθος και διάρκεια αναισθησία του κάτω φατνιακού νεύρου.
