ΠΕΡΙΛΗΨΗ
Οι δερμοειδείς κύστεις του εδάφους του στόματος κατά την επικρατέστερη θεωρία οφείλονται σε εγκλεισμό
και διατήρηση κυττάρων στο μεσέγχυμα της περιοχής κατά την διάπλαση του πρώτου και δευτέρου βραγ-
χιακου τόξου την τρίτη με τέταρτη εμβρυϊκή εβδομάδα. Εμφανίζονται συχνότερα τη δεύτερη και τρίτη δεκαετία
σαν ανώδυνες διογκώσεις του εδάφους του στόματος με σύσταση ελαστική ή σκληροελαστική και όταν
είναι ευμεγέθεις προκαλούν υπογενείδια διόγκωση, δυσχέρεια στη μάσηση, την ομιλία και στην αναπνοή με
επιβάρυνση σε περίπτωση επιμόλυνσης. Ιστολογικά διακρίνονται σε δερμοειδείς, επιδερμοειδείς και τερατο-
ειδείς κύστεις ή τερατώματα, ενώ ανατομικά ως προς τη μέση γραμμή και το γναθοϋοειδή μυ διακρίνονται
σε μέσες και πλάγιες και σε άνωθεν και κάτωθεν του γναθοϋοειδούς μυός αντίστοιχα. Η συχνότητα των δερ-
μοειδών κύστεων του εδάφους του στόματος είναι χαμηλή. Στην εργασία αυτή παρουσιάζονται δύο περιπτώσεις
δερμοειδών κύστεων του εδάφους του στόματος και με την ευκαιρία αυτή συζητείται η αιτιοπαθογέ-
νεια, η κλινική εικόνα, η αντιμετώπιση καθώς και η διαφοροδιάγνωση αυτών των κύστεων σε σχέση με ένα
ευρύ φάσμα ογκόμορφων βλαβών σε αυτήν την περιοχή.

ΠΕΡΙΛΗΨΗ
Οι δερμοειδείς κύστεις του εδάφους του στόματος κατά την επικρατέστερη θεωρία οφείλονται σε εγκλεισμό
και διατήρηση κυττάρων στο μεσέγχυμα της περιοχής κατά την διάπλαση του πρώτου και δευτέρου βραγ-
χιακου τόξου την τρίτη με τέταρτη εμβρυϊκή εβδομάδα. Εμφανίζονται συχνότερα τη δεύτερη και τρίτη δεκαετία
σαν ανώδυνες διογκώσεις του εδάφους του στόματος με σύσταση ελαστική ή σκληροελαστική και όταν
είναι ευμεγέθεις προκαλούν υπογενείδια διόγκωση, δυσχέρεια στη μάσηση, την ομιλία και στην αναπνοή με
επιβάρυνση σε περίπτωση επιμόλυνσης. Ιστολογικά διακρίνονται σε δερμοειδείς, επιδερμοειδείς και τερατο-
ειδείς κύστεις ή τερατώματα, ενώ ανατομικά ως προς τη μέση γραμμή και το γναθοϋοειδή μυ διακρίνονται
σε μέσες και πλάγιες και σε άνωθεν και κάτωθεν του γναθοϋοειδούς μυός αντίστοιχα. Η συχνότητα των δερ-
μοειδών κύστεων του εδάφους του στόματος είναι χαμηλή. Στην εργασία αυτή παρουσιάζονται δύο περιπτώσεις
